By sponsoring Austin Technology Incubator, you can directly impact the growth of the technology ecosystem in Central Texas and gain access to new investment, partnership, and customer opportunities in the process ... plus ensure that these opportunities will continue to exist in the future.

Grants Professional organizations, investors, and corporates can establish financial or service grants and collaborate with the Austin Technology Incubator professionals to market them to the entrepreneurial community. We currently have two such granting partners:

• Sevin Rosen Funds – Sevin Rosen Funds provides financial grants to select companies that offset the first year's cost of membership and office space at ATI. In addition, grant recipients receive mentoring from Sevin Rosen partners and are given access to support resources at the firm.

• Fish & Richardson – Fish & Richardson provides up to $25,000 in corporate legal services and $25,000 in IP legal services to be deferred until the winning company reaches its first $500,000 of financing.

Events – The Austin Technology Incubator hosts a number of events throughout the year, targeted at our member and pipeline companies, relevant programs at The University of Texas at Austin, and local entrepreneurs.  You can sponsor one of the Austin Technology Incubator’s already established industry or funding events or work with the Austin Technology Incubator to design your own event.

Industry Partner – Work with the Austin Technology Incubator to encourage and foster the development of complementary technologies.  We currently have formal relationships with two major partners:

• AT&T – AT&T provides access to IPTV and IMS labs to allow promising and vetted early-stage companies to test new applications and to engage with the business teams at AT&T who are seeking new innovations.  Through this program startup companies gain access to infrastructure normally reserved for large industry players, get feedback and validation from the largest telecommunications company in North America, and ultimately accelerate their time to markets and capital.

• Austin Energy – ATI’s Clean Energy Incubator and Austin Energy have created the first test-bed environment in the United States for early stage alternative energy companies to prepare their technologies for commercialization. The partnership will allow clean technology companies to accelerate their path to market through early product validation with a leading utility.
