Mary Nguyen, Associate
Mary Nguyen is obtaining her doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Her thesis focuses on peptide-based mimics as hydrogels for cardiovascular applications. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Blayne Kettlewell, Associate
Blayne is a senior biomedical engineering student at The University of Texas at Austin. His past research includes the dynamics of gait instability at preferred transition states, as well as, embryonic stem cell differentiation to hematopoietic progenitor cells. As an ATI-Bioscience intern, Blayne is putting together a database of venture capital firms that specialize in start-up bioscience businesses. Additionally, he will be working on an interactive search program that will interface into this database. This software will be a gateway for streamlined query on VC’s with desirable investment criteria. |

Howard Ly, Associate
Howard Ly is an undergraduate Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Texas at Austin with a focus in genetic and tissue engineering. He works for the Bioscience vertical of ATI, helping early-stage companies perform scientific research on medical products or services and compile market diligence. Based on the gathered information, he assists start-up companies in formulating solutions and improvements to their own products or services. |

Julia Kim, Associate
Julia Kim is a MBA candidate at the McCombs School of Business, focusing on Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management. Pre-MBA, she worked for over seven years in a high tech VC-funded company specializing in Broadband Powerline Communication chipsets and BPL-based AMR/Smart Grid Systems. Julia hopes to use her past expertise in global technical marketing, new product management, international bidding/procurement and exhibition planning to help foster growth of early stage Clean Energy companies and promote Smart Grid opportunities. She received Bachelors degree in English Education from Ewha Womans University and studied North American Area Studies at the Graduate School of International Area Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. |

Steve Yang is an MBA candidate from McCombs School of Business. He has over six years of experience in the wireless industry. Yang worked at various positions in Alcatel-Lucent and a start-up in China. As an associate of ATI, he reviews business plans and provides suggestions for start-ups. Yang holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University, Canada. |

Jamie McAllister, Associate
Jamie McAllister is an M.P.Aff candidate at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Jamie’s focus at the LBJ School is on Economic Development and International Trade Policy, and she recently completed an internship with a Michigan-based Economic Development Corporation on the Canadian border. Prior to attending graduate school, she spent one year studying abroad and 2 years working as a development officer with a nonprofit organization in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Region. As an intern at ATI, Jamie is assisting with operations and fund development. She received her bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in Political Science and a double minor in Public Affairs and Spanish. |

Andrew Hill is an undergraduate research assistant at the Austin Technology Incubator, assisting with marketing and communications for the CleanTX and Wireless Seed Stage Forums, the Clean Energy and Wireless Summits, and other affiliated events. Currently pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems at the University of Texas, Andrew brings creative marketing solutions to help promote clean technologies. |
