ENTREPRENEURS
Since 1989, ATI has worked with over 150 teams of entrepreneurs. Collectively, those teams have raised over 725 million dollars of investor capital while at ATI.
ATI provides access to the State of Texas Emerging Technology Fund and capital networks, like Institutional and Angel.
Companies benefit from contacts with virtual boards of industry experts and professional networks composed of experienced entrepreneurs, executives and technologists. They receive mentoring and consulting help from directors with backgrounds in venture capital, technology entrepreneurship and strategy consulting. Additionally, ATI provides talent from the University of Texas at Austin students and faculty for their disposal.
ATI partners with AT&T in its IPTV and wireless program; Austin Energy in its test bed program; the University of Texas STAR super computer center; and Austin-area corporations, like IBM, Freescale Semiconductors, AMD, Motorola and Dell. Member companies benefit directly from these relationships.
The vetting process for companies is rigorous and high-value, giving ATI credibility in the investor community.
For companies looking for funding and grants, ATI contributes the Sevin Rosen Funds grant program, and has special access to both the Fish & Richardson legal services grant program and Austin Energy grant programs.
