In this role he helped set the strategic direction that lead Austin Energy become one of the greenest utilities in America. He has over 30 years of utility experience. | | | | | Clint Bybee is a co-founder and Managing Director of ARCH Venture Partners, a billion dollar Venture Capital firm, where he specializes in advanced materials, semiconductors and electronics. Mr. Bybee also serves as the first President of the Texas Venture Capital Association. | | | | | Donald M. Carlton is the retired President and founder of Radian International LLC, an environmental engineering services company. He currently serves on the boards of National Instrument, AEP, Temple Inland and the University of Texas College of Engineering. | | | | | Bruce Ezell is a Managing Director of Techxas Ventures. Mr. Ezell has been a venture capitalist for over ten years since co-founding Techxas Ventures at the age of 38. At the age of 32 he co-founded and served as the General Manager of Dell Software and Peripherals; at the age of 26 he co-founded and served as CFO of Underwater Technology Corporation (OTC: UTCA); and at the age of 39 he co-founded and served on the executive committee of Trinity Episcopal School (Austin). Mr. Ezell spent his early career at Gulf Oil Corporation and Ernst & Young Management Consulting. | | | | | Jack Hewitt served as Under-Secretary of Energy under President Carter. She was former Chairman of the Texas Public Utility Commission, and currently serves as Chair of the Lower Colorado River Authority. She also chairs Power Across Texas, a non-profit focused on promoting clean, clever and competitive energy. | | | | | Steve Smaha is the founder and CEO of Haystack Labs, a security software company. He is an Angel investor and Director at AccuWater, a CEI portfolio company. | | | | | Bill Spencer is the Chairman Emeritus of SEMATECH a major semiconductor company. He is a board member of Sunpower and Airtricity. | | | | Advisory Committee CEI's Success Committee is made up of industry experts, experienced entrepreneurs, and community leaders interested in furthering the growth of entrepreneurship and clean energy businesses. The Success Committee helps CEI evaluate prospective companies and provides feedback and guidance to help companies assess their strengths and weaknesses and develop their business strategy.
