Business Software Developer eVapt Inc. Joins the Austin Technology Incubator

The Austin Technology Incubator has accepted eVapt Inc., developer of sales tracking software Software as a Service (SaaS) providers, as a new member company.

January 10, 2007

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Technology Incubator, a program of the IC² Institute and part of The University of Texas at Austin, has accepted eVapt Inc. as a member company.

eVapt, founded as a result of work done at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, develops software that allows Software as a Service (SaaS) providers to track their sales by how many times a customer uses it. With eVapt's software tracking those uses, SaaS providers can take care of back office operations and focus more on their core business.

eVapt’s founders Divakar Jandhyala, Ranjit Nayak and Chris Marich have several years of commercial software development experience from companies such as BMC, IBM and Evity Software, a former ATI member company.

“We are excited to be a part of the ATI,” said Divakar Jandhyala, a founder and chief executive of eVapt. “ATI’s strong business relationships in the community as well as its past successes with companies such as Evity, enhance our credibility when we talk to customers and investors.”

“We are excited to welcome eVapt, a highly innovative software-as-a-service provider, to ATI," said Isaac Barchas, director of ATI. "It joins a long line of successful business software companies at ATI, including recent graduate BuildForge (acquired by IBM in 2006) and current member Phurnace Software. It is especially gratifying that one of the eVapt founding team members is an ATI alumnus – recurring business like that really validates the ATI model.”

About eVapt Inc.: eVapt’s primary offering is called Operations Service Manager (OSM) and will be delivered as a SaaS. For more information, visit www.evapt.com
